POSITION: Development Services Coordinator 

PAY: $16-18 DOE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Serve as the initial contact in the Development Department and routes inquiries to the appropriate Development staff.
  • Manages the in-take, acceptance, and acknowledgement of donations (monetary and in-kind)
  • Manages and coordinates the production of hard copy appeals and other email communications; i.e. newsletters, special event mailings, etc.
  • Manages the FC donor database, including upper level manipulation of the database
  • Assists the Development Office with the successful orchestration of special events, including managing reservations and check-in/checkout at the event.
  • Acts as staff liaison to the Board of Directors.

Job Requirements

THE PERSON:The Development Services Coordinator is a dynamic member of the Development team and should possess strong initiative, problem solving and critical thinking skills; a great ability to communicate in writing, on the phone, and in person; have a strong attention to detail with minimal supervision and the ability to multi-task.  This successful candidate will bring a high level of energy and friendly demeanor to the team.

THE POSITION: The Development Services Coordinator (DSC) is an active member of the Florence Crittenton (FC) Development team, assisting with the execution of the overall resource development strategy of FC. The responsibilities of the DSC include the coordination of appeals and communications associated with the Development Department; oversight and management of the FC Development database; assisting with all fundraising and special events; managing in-kind donations program; and assisting with coordination and logistics associated with FC Board of Directors meetings. A valid driver’s license, satisfactory background check, and a health statement are required for all employees at the Florence Crittenton Home and Services.
