Local Government seeking Operations Analyst 1 for their facility in Fort Lauderdale.
This is a varied and highly responsible position involving technical and administrative. Work will include analyzing, developing and assisting in the implementation of improved policies, practices, methods, procedures and organizational structures.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Identifying system and organizational difficulties hindering the accomplishment of objectives and outlining procedures to be followed in conducting studies or collecting data.
Assisting line supervisors in the implementation of new procedures and management techniques in the information technology area.
Using mainframe computer systems or software applications to access, create, edit, print, send, retrieve or manipulate data, files or other information.
Collaborating with others or works in teams to accomplish work-related activities and to determine appropriate action or recommend improvements or solutions to problems.
Providing training to other staff.
Planning, guiding and coaching staff as required.
Completing forms, documents or routine reports, and composes simple correspondence or other written work such as memoranda and form letters.
Typing materials and transfers information from one document or record to another.
Performing other related duties as required.
