Schedule: Day shift | 30-32 hours per week 

Pay: $17-$19 per hour to start (based on experience)


SUMMARY:   Perform varied accounting functions related to purchasing and act as backup for

Production Administrator.



  1. Process requisitions from department managers and place orders with vendors.
  2. Assign proper categories and set up new vendors in computer system.
  3. Process paperwork for any and all return orders.
  4. Track supplier performance as required by ISO.
  5. Monitor inventory and order production materials, partnering with Production Administrator as needed.
  6. Research and evaluate vendor pricing for costs savings whenever possible.
  7. Plan, prepare and report purchases for internal review to the Quality Management  System (QMS) Team and/or at the Management Review Meeting as may be required by ISO.
  8. Perform routine office work including ordering supplies, contracting for routine services and maintaining purchasing and vendor records.   
  9. Using company vehicle, pick up supplies as may be needed.
  10. Completes projects and reporting for department managers as requested.


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:  Ability and willingness to work during a 24-hour period, weekends and holidays if necessary. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  Overall conditions are good with occasional exposure to seasonally hot and cold environment in production areas. 



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for short periods of time.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/RELATED EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma or equivalent required plus two (2) or more years purchasing experience .  Good computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word.  Experience in Made 2 Manage (M2M) and BellHawk inventory software helpful.  


QUALIFICATIONS:  Knowledge of clerical bookkeeping principles and practices, general office practices and procedures, ability to perform detailed work with numerical data and to make arithmetic computations rapidly and accurately.  Ability to prepare routine financial reports and records.  Must be able to read, write and speak English.  Must have a positive attitude, a satisfactory work history, maintain a good attendance record, and work well with co-workers.
