Description

Manufacturer of Supplements is hiring a Machine Operator for their Tablet Encapsulating Department.

2 Openings in 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday 11PM-7:30AM)

1 Opening in 1st Shift (Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM)

  • Location: Miramar, FL
  • Pay: Open - Depends on Experience in Pharmaceuticals/supplements OR encapsulating machinery.

Responsible for operating machinery that compresses powders into supplement tablets machines that fill powders into gelatin and veggie capsules while following cGMP's and SOP's, to prepare tablets for packaging or bulk shipment. The operator is responsible for the quality of the product they produce.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Set-up machines Tablet Press.
  • Start up and adjust machine to meet specifications.
  • Run batch according to specifications.
  • Check weights and measurements every 30 minutes.
  • Weigh and record each box produced. 
  • Count and collect labels as production progresses.
  • Do reconciliation at the end of the run.
  • Clean the machine, vacuum, dust collector, floor and walls at the end of manufacturing.
  • Leave machine and room clean at the end of each shift.
  • Communicate any issues with the equipment to an immediate supervisor.
  • Create a high quality product.
  • Work with Quality Assurance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience operating machinery in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environments.
  • Experienced working in Manufacturing - fast pace environments (Specifically Manufacturers that follow GMP).
  • Can read/write/understand English.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexible to work 8-10 hours daily.
