Westaff has openings for Part Time (Evening) Call Center Reps (ONE weekend day is a requirement) in Wallingford, CT

*** NEXT TRAINING CLASS WILL BE THE END OF APRIL! 

Pay rate:  $14/hr

Part Time evenings Shifts that are available:

- Sunday - Thursday (4pm-10pm during the week and full availability on Sunday)

- Tuesday through Saturday (4pm-10pm during the week and full availability on Saturday)

These are  Temp to Perm positions   

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for primarily outbound and some inbound calling using a scripted methodology that describes our products and services, in order to convince potential customers to accept an appointment for a certified sales representative to perform a site assessment and deliver a sales presentation for them in their home.

 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE

Outbound telephone calls (and taking some inbound calls) to/from potential customers who have responded to our marketing campaigns in order to solicit sales for products

  • Explain the business model; Sell the value and importance of a site survey  to potential customers
  • Obtain/enter customer information including names, address, phone number(s) and e-mail address
  • Document call results from customer, including reason for interest, reason for declination and any other noteworthy information
  • Meet daily, weekly & monthly goals setting appointments for the In-Home Sales Representatives, recognizing and eliminating any potential obstacles to a one call close
  • Participate in weekly training requirements; provide constructive feedback during coaching sessions

 

 

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES     

QUALIFICATIONS required of the Call Center Representative:

High school diploma or GED

Relevant work experience in telemarketing, inside/outside sales; quota driven "upselling" of products, or other similar sales related positions

Must have excellent grammar and pronunciation, be very outgoing, and not get frustrated easily! Must be goal oriented, tech savvy, and love talking to people ion the phone.     

Proficiency in Microsoft applications

WORK PLACE CONDITIONS

This job operates in a clerical, office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.  This is a largely sedentary role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and viewing a computer screen. This is a part-time position.
