Our client has a well-established marketing presence, and is looking for someone to evolve their marketing operations to mirror their growth trajectory.

Below are some of the responsibilities our client would be asking of you:

Responsibilities of the Director of Marketing:

  • Website Management – (Experience with html coding preferable)
    • Continuously strive to perfect user experience
    • Master the content management system
    • Optimize tracking and conversion tactics
    • Project manage all web development efforts
    • Manage ancillary features like live chat, bots, AI
  • Lead Capture – (Experience with inbound marketing required)
    • Manage inbound marketing automation program
    • Design and develop landing pages
    • Maintain downloadable asset catalog and lead forms
    • Create funnel assets (eBooks, Whitepapers, etc.)
  • Social Marketing – (Mastery of FB, Tw, LI required)
    • Grow subscribers
    • Manage company pages
    • Develop content/editorial schedule
    • Daily communications of industry news
    • Oversee the creation of the monthly newsletter
    • Develop lead generation ads and landing pages
  • Company Communications
    • Responsible for the creation and refinement of web copy
    • Oversee all mass email communications
    • Create press releases and company announcements
    • Plan Public Outreach events
  • Video Production – (Familiarity with Camtasia or equivalent preferred)
    • Attend and manage professional video shoots as applicable to marketing
    • Create screen capture videos
    • Capture personal promotional videos
    • Perform basic video editing
  • Graphic Design – (Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent preferred)
    • Oversee the creation of collateral
  • PPC Advertising – (Mastery of Google Analytics required | Mastery of PPC platforms preferred)
    • Consult on PPC campaigns
    • Manage and measure analytics

Job Requirements

Qualifications of the Director of Marketing 

  • 4+ years of marketing experience
  • Proven ability to increase social media followers and engagement
  • Mastery of social platforms (FB, Tw, LI)
  • Mastery of Google Analytics
  • Mastery of inbound marketing
  • Excellent written communication
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, & PPT
  • Fluency in PPC platforms (Google, Bing, LinkedIn, & Facebook Certifications Preferred)
  • Knowledge of project management
