Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Hours: M-F-6am to 3:30pm, Sat 6am-10am

Averaging 48 hours weekly

Maintenance Mechanic is expected to carry out tasks that will include, but are not be limited to, the service, repair and maintenance of industrial machinery as instructed by the maintenance department manager/supervisor.

looking for experience in -

• working in a manufacturing company
• Electrical
• Hydraulic
• Measuring using micrometers, vernier calipers, height measurement (to the thousandths)
• Welding is a plus (but they will train)
• sharpening knives is a plus (but they will train)

Requirements of Maintenance Mechanic

A good candidate for this role will be very mechanically inclined,they will be able to do things such as rebuild a motor (taking apart and putting back together).

This candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting on their own. Once the manager shows them what to do, they can hit the ground running with little supervision.

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment

- Electrical and hydraulic maintenance experience 

- Must be mechanically inclined 

- Experience with welding and sharpening is preferred, but not required (training will be provided)
