Description

Assist the Plant Controller/Accounting Department by performing various accounting operations for a single plant within the organization. • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings • Perform analyses of plant finances and prepares reports • Administer internal controls and audits of policies and procedures • Accounts Receivable and collections • Bank statement reconciliations & cash flow • Maintain and prepare schedules • Journal entries • Back-up to payroll • Payroll audits and control functions • Written and oral communication skills • Ability to work as part of a team • Ability to identify and seek information/research skills • Analytical thinking and problem solving • Detail oriented • Ability to meet deadlines • Mathematical/Accounting skills • Presentation skills • May perform other related duties as requested to meet the ongoing needs of the organization • May require travel for business trips • AAS degree required; BS degree preferred • SAP experience preferred • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency • Manufacturing accounting experience • Accounts Receivable customer collections experience • Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking; may require occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and or ladder use. • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. using safe lifting practices • Requires frequent data entry/keyboarding • Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust visual focus.
