General Purpose of Job: Prepare and supply production lines with vinegar and juices according to specifications from Quality Control and daily scheduling requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Insure that vinegars and juices are prepared within specifications for the production lines.
• Responsible for directing and training other basement employees for the most effective use of their work hours.
• Insure that all filers and stainless steel tanks are used efficiently and effectively.
• Insure that all filters, tanks, pumps and storage areas are cleaned properly by the end of their shift.
• Insure that all juices and vinegars are properly blended by checking with Q.C. (Quality Control) and meet all specifications.
• Maintain batch production reports that track the efficiency of operations.
• Insure that all materials brought into the basement are labeled with the date received and used on a first in first out basis.
• Make all minor repairs to the equipment or report problems to the maintenance department as needed. Follow up with the maintenance department to insure that all repairs are made in a timely manner.
• Conduct a weekly inventory of all materials remaining in the basement.
• Use and train other employees learn to titrate for the initial testing of product tanks. Work closely with the Lab to insure that product tanks are brought quickly into specifications.
• Work with the vinegar plant operators to insure that the proper products are brought into the basement tanks to meet production schedules.
• Communicate with your Supervisor, the Production Supervisor, the Vinegar Plant Supervisor, and the Scheduler to anticipate and solve problems that would adversely effect plant production.
• Frequent climbing of stairs is required along with lifting (At least 50 Lbs) and moving of various materials required.
• Follow and adhere to HACCP, SQF and GMP regulations.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by a supervisor.

• Perform testing to include: VSWR measurements, pattern measurements, gain and isolation measurements, thermal cycling, vibration, shock and required external environmental tests (i.e., vibration, shock, humidity, etc).

• Participate in MRB processes.

• Generate test procedures and reports.

• Work with Engineering in the development of required test fixtures.

• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance, repair and calibration services.

• Ensure test technicians have a clear direction and expected completion of tests each day.

• Supervise test technicians on a technical/scheduling level

• Ensure all tests are performed in accordance to the test procedures

• Develop new test protocol and processes to ensure all requirements are met

• Work closely with customer to understand requirements and meet customer expectations and coordinate with other departments to meet customer expectations.

Job Summary:

Electronic Assembly Technician with strong experience in high level assembly of customer cable assemblies, electromechanical assembly and battery packs.  Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Technician is encouraged to provide input and feedback to engineer and/or cell lead to strive toward continuous improvement. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to read and interpret customer documentation including blueprints, BOMs and drawings.

• Understanding measurements and tolerance.

• First piece build and creation of work instructions for the manufacturing/assembly line(s) using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Ability to define and create documentation and/or test fixture and harness boards for manufacturability.

• Experience soldering, crimping and inserting terminals.

• Routing wires on a harness board using tie wraps and lacing cord(s).

• Use of coaxial, biaxial and braided wire(s).

• Using epoxy and potting materials to encapsulate wires.

• Experience with sleeving, tubing, Expando and boots.

• Use of OHM meter, Hipot, Cirrus and point to point testing.

• Adhere to and maintain workmanship standards set forth by Aved.

• Participate in continuous improvement training, including but not limited to cross training to all departments.

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.

This is a unique opportunity to see a design from start to finish since all design, fabrication and performance verification takes place on site. General Role and Responsibilities:

• Forms product by operating fabricating equipment.
• Determining sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Preparing machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables. Regulating machining by setting and adjusting controls.
• Maintaining specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls; replacing dies.
• Resolving production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintaining stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.

Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all machine and auxiliary equipment throughout the molding department. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performs all preventative maintenance as scheduled. Maintains and repairs all equipment as requested by maintenance work tickets, per manufacturer's specifications and procedures. Ensures that documentation, work tickets, etc., filled in properly: follow up on all assignments. Responsible for the condition of all machines and related equipment that are installed and kept to the highest standard. Responsible for the observation relating to excessive wear, breakage, abuse, downtime, and corrective actions. Enforce safety regulations and maintain safe and clean working condition.
