Westaff is recruiting for a Tool & Die Maker in Milford, CT.
Develop and create tooling needed to produce finished customer parts
-Study blueprints, sketches, models, or written specifications in order to manufacture customer parts.
-Plan type of stock, layout, machining, and assembly operations needed to complete customer parts.
-Help identify key characteristics as defined in drawings.
-Repair and maintain tools, jigs, fixtures and gauges

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Trade School or High School diploma; some college or technical training preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of tool production experience or a combination of education and/or experience.
This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. This position required the ability to communicate with coworkers and management.
Tool Maker must be able to interpret blueprints and other specifications to produce tool and dies in accordance with company policies.
