Westaff is recruiting for a:
Part Time Bookkeeper/Admin Support
for a multi-state contractor in Cheshire, CT
Tuesdays and Thursdays 8-4:30
This is a temp to perm opportunity, and will pay based on experience.
Construction experience strongly preferred!
Job duties of the Part Time Bookkeeper:
Heavy entry of and processing of Accounts Payable
Matching credit cards to receipts
Data entry (with Job costing experience strongly preferred)
Assist with monthly, quarterly and yearly taxes, preparation for their accountant
A/R, with AIA /construction experience
Multi state payroll
General ledger and allocations
Use of Foundation (a Construction based software)
Use of Word, Excel, Outlook (and ACT database) for all Administrative tasks assigned as required, running reports, etc.
Candidates will be tested on Excel.
Job qualifications for the Part Time Bookkeeper:
Bookkeeping experience from a Construction background strongly preferred.
Must have experience with:
Multi State Payroll
Data entry with job costing experience
General Ledger knowledge.
Must have at least 5 years of qualified experience.
Must have MS Office experience and will be tested on Excel knowledge.
