A privately owned American pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and marketing of quality, over-the-counter (OTC) drugs and nutritional products is looking for a assemblers/packing operators to join their team! 

 

Assembly/Packaging Operators:

Temp-Hire

Pay: $10.30/Hr

Hours:  6:00am-5:30pm 4 days/week; they usually work Mon., Tues., Weds and then have 1 more day added to their schedule, either Thurs., Fri., or Sat.

 

These Associates will rotate between various lines, either bottle or blister packing. Basically, machines are filling bottles and blister packs with Over The Counter dugs (pills) and Associate are packing, tending machines, labeling, etc. Some of the job require standing but most have the option to stand or sit.

Opportunity for growth!

They all start at $10.30/hr but those who can eventually learn more sophisticated processes (like labeling) will be increased by $1/hr. Those who are top performers and demonstrate leadership can move into lead roles and ha  increase pay by another $1/hr.

*All Associates are required to wear PPE mandated for area in which they work including-safety glasses, hair nets, beard nets, lab coats, booties. Short fingernails, no jewelry, no perfume.

 

Job Description-

stock and sort inventory

ensure all components uses in production are in accordance with packaging specs

observe machine operation to ensure conformity of filled  packaged products to standards

maintain hopper fill levels

operate pallet wrap, pallet jack, Fork Lift

Responsibilities:

  • Operate / Monitor a variety of production equipment that packages product (Cartoner and Case Packing Stations)
  • Stock and sort materials for packaging/filling operation and replenish packaging supplies, such as bottles, tablets, labels, caps, etc.
  • Observe machine operation to ensure quality and conformity of filled/packaged products to standards. Notify supervisors/management if issues are observed
  • Verify issued components and Inspect components and finished goods during packaging process to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Inspect and remove finished items from machine and separate rejected items
  • Clean Equipment and Facility as directed

        •      Other Duties as assigned
