Westaff is recruiting for a Permanent, Full Time Accounts Executive in New Britain, CT!
Pay is based on experience
The person in this position will sell products to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office or customer's place of business in assigned territories to meet or exceed corporate sales goals, by performing the following duties:
Accounts Executive Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategic sales plan to accommodate corporate goals in assigned territories.
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspaper, business directories, industry ads, trade show, internet, web inquiries, web sites and other sources.
Performs Outside Sales activities; travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customer to solicit new and repeat business and close deals
Communicate with customers by phone, email, text, etc.
TRAVEL 40-50% of the time.
Prepares sales reports, business travel schedules, 6 month plan for Sales Manager, etc.
Present production demonstrations using sample kits, catalogs, or video
Submit trip expense reports with receipts, and trip narrative reports
Retorts or mitigates customer problems with deliveries or quality
Coordinate customer training
Attends trade shows
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing, engineering, R&D and executive contacts in your territory
Work with Inside Sales on accounts and keep them up to date
Bachelor's Degree required
5 years minimum Outside Sales experience a must, preferably from a manufacturing company.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time
Proven ability to close deals
Must be cost conscious, innovative, and organized.
