The Pump Mechanic / Assembler is responsible for assembling, repairing, testing, and maintaining industrial pumps and related components. This role involves working with mechanical parts, tools, and equipment to build pumps according to specifications and diagnose issues when repairs are needed. The position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow drawings, work orders, and safety procedures in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble pumps and pump components according to specifications and blueprints Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild pumps as needed Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Perform basic testing to ensure proper operation and quality standards Identify worn or damaged parts and report issues Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Work collaboratively with technicians, assemblers, and supervisors This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical skills who enjoy hands-on work and contributing to reliable industrial equipment performance.
