Assistant Mill Operator
Location: Mer Rouge, LA
Pay: $1300-$1500/Week
Schedule: 12-hour shifts- 7 days, 7 nights, then 1 week off
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Mill Operator with daily production tasks
• Pull product samples for quality checks
• Operate and monitor mill equipment
• Flip and maintain rollers
• Assist with electrical panel checks
• Grease rollers and moving parts
• Monitor gauges and record readings
• Check incoming trucks and weight scales
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Climb stairs and ladders as needed
• Frequent stooping, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
Qualifications
• Previous industrial, mechanical, or mill experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
