The Carter County Road and Bridge Department is accepting applications for a fulltime Road and Bridge Mechanic/Truck Driver/Equipment Operator!

 

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair on trucks and all types of heavy equipment including welding and fabrication
• Driving tractor-trailer type trucks and operating large equipment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a valid CDL Class A driver’s license, current medical card, and meet certain physical requirements.

Carter County offers a competitive wage and benefit package, including a Monday – Friday Schedule and paid Holidays. Applications may be picked up at the Carter County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 214 Park Street in Ekalaka between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

The Board of Carter County Commissioners is accepting applications for a full-time custodial position for the Carter County courthouse and the Carter County Event Center.

 

Duties would include general cleaning of the courthouse and Event Center as listed in the custodial job description. The hours worked may be filled prior to 8:00 am and after 5:00 pm in the evening. Carter County offers a competitive wage and benefit package, including a Monday – Friday Schedule and paid Holidays.
