Job Opening: Program Manager
Description
Westaff is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee all aspects of customer projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time and meet customer specifications while serving as the primary liaison between the company and its customers. This position requires strong cross-departmental collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams.
Job Type & Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM–11:30 AM
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive wage and benefits package.
- This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
- Compensation: $77,000+ annually (Negotiable, based on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple and diverse customer contracts and projects simultaneously.
- Respond to customer requests for quotations and proposals promptly and accurately.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Review and ensure contracts comply with the terms offered.
- Monitor workflow and processes to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
- Resolve contract-related issues both internally and externally.
- Maintain detailed records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Oversee the overall execution and success of contracts and projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on program or contract management.
- Ability to read and interpret government and commercial contracts, including familiarity with FAR/DFAR clauses, contract terms and conditions, and quality clauses.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Preferred knowledge of military requirements for textile products.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and experience with JobBoss software.
