Westaff is Looking for a Warehouse Associate for a Logistics Company in Wallingford, CT!

 

Shift: 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday to Friday

Payrate: Starting at $16.50/hr with potential $1 pay raise after forklift training (based on work ethic and abilities)

 

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Separate cartons from pallets and prepare for storage or shipping.
• Wrap pallets securely to ensure safe transport.
• Assist with inventory control through cycle counting and accurate tracking of goods.
• Perform data entry tasks related to receiving and inventory management.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized and maintained according to company standards.
• Maintain a high level of safety and efficiency in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Operate forklifts (once trained) to move goods safely around the warehouse (training provided based on performance).

Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory and receiving preferred.
• Prior forklift experience is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy months.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
