Westaff is looking for Handfoilers/Machine Operators for Candy Manufacturer located in Meriden, CT! 

Pay: $16.94/hr

Shift: 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12am M-F

Candy Handfoiler/Machine Operator responsibilities:  

• Operate a machine that applies foil to molded pieces of chocolate
• The process is semi-automated. Would pick up a piece of chocolate – one in each hand – and place each into a plate that rotates.  The machine applies the foil and then pushes the piece out onto a conveyor belt.
• When not operating the foiling machine, would learn to handfoil
• Wrap chocolates in colorful foil to safely package chocolate
• Place foiled chocolates into boxes for an appealing look
• Inspect final candy to ensure no chocolate is showing/meets standards

Candy Handfoiler/Machine Operator Requirements:

• ABOVE AVERAGE eye-hand coordination. 
• ABOVE AVERAGE manual dexterity.
• AVERAGE EYESIGHT.
• Ability and willingness to stand for the entire shift.
• Lifting up to 20 lbs
