Westaff is Hiring for an Overnight Transportation Clerk in Enfield, CT!

 

Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00pm – 1:00am 

Pay: $20-$21 an hour 

Responsibilities of Shipping Clerk:

• Ensure trailers are loaded safely and correctly per delivery routes. 
• Verify and confirm route schedule. 
• Communicate delivery times and specifications to customers. 
• Confirm routes and keys are documented prepped daily. 
• Document and file reporting, including trip logs and fuel reconciliation.
• Assist with driver coverage and overflow freight scheduling. 
• Daily/ weekly pallet tracking when needed. 

 

Qualifications for Shipping Clerk:

• Knowledge or experience of DOT standards and tracking. 
• Able and comfortable walking throughout the shift. 
• Computer and Microsoft Office skills. 
• Experience and comfortability using Excel.
• Customer service and administrative experience. 
• Previous shipping and delivery experience.
