Westaff is Looking for a Certified Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Associate for a Logistics Company in Wallingford, CT!

Shift: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: $16-$17/hr

**Forklift certification required

Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks, update inventory records, and report discrepancies.
Receiving and Inspection: Unload deliveries, inspect goods for damage, and accurately record received items.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly and safely.
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as needed, following safety protocols.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse associates and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
Skills: Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management; ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment such as RF Scanners (training provided if necessary).
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
