Westaff is Hiring Machine Operator for Plastic Manufacturer in Deep River, CT!

2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12:00am

*Training Shift: Will have to train on 1st shift for 2 weeks, 7:30am to 4:00pm. 

Pay Rate: Starting pay: $19.84 + $0.50 shift differential. Once hired on perm : $21.98/hr. + $0.50 shift differential.

Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Start and operate Magnetic Drilling (BDS) machines, RST machines & auxiliary equipment as needed
• Inspect product and make adjustments to machines as needed
• Adjust machines to ensure they are meeting quality and production standards
• Keep production floor clean of tails, moils, pellets, bottles, and an material i.e. regrind etc
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Machine Operator Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience (required)
• Prior Machine Operating experience (preferred)
