Job Opening: Warehouse Helper/ Forklift
Description
Westaff has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Helper/ Forklift helper for the Walker, LA area.
Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
$16.00 an hour
Non-climate controlled warehouse. Must feel comfortable working in heat/ cold and other elements. Steel toe shoes required.
Overall job duties:
1. Checks in shipments and places material on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined size, type, or product code.
2. Picks orders according to work order and/or sales order.
3. Packs orders in compliance with company procedures.
4. Operates shredder machinery.
5. Drives forklift to move material throughout the plant and warehouse.
6. Perform clean up duties in the warehouse.
7. Other duties as assigned.
