Job Opening: Unarmed Security Guard
Description
WESTAFF is hiring an EXPERIENCED Unarmed Security Guard for a company located in Lafayette, LA.
Pay: $19- $20/Hour
Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 5:00PM
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a safe environment for all employees and guests
- Working with our front desk reception staff on any issues that arise
- Walking the outside perimeter several times per day to ensure everyone on premises belongs on premises
- Making rounds inside the office throughout the day to avail themselves to employee needs or concerns
- Aligning with our active shooter protocol (yet TBD), fire procedures, etc., ensuring everyone in the building is guided to designated safe spaces should an emergency arise
- Addressing any safety concerns quickly and professionally
