Plantsville, CT Forging Company Looking for Experienced Maintenance Mechanic! 

Hours: Overnight shift 11pm-7:00am

Pay $23.00-27.00/hr based on experience 

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities: 

• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs Reassemble machinery and equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear
• Welds metal parts or components of parts using MIG, TIG, soldering and brazing equipment to repair, strengthen or fabricate
• Capable of working from elevated platform and lift 75 pounds of weight
• Must have working knowledge of pneumatic and various hand tools: Wrenches, sockets, etc..

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements: 

• Mechanical or Millwright Apprentice program preferred
• Welding skills preferred High school diploma or equivalent required
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts and scissor lifts
• Background in Manufacturing environment
