Position Overview
The Special Process Technician is responsible for auditing DMV paperwork according to established DMV policies and internal procedures and then keying that information into various databases. The candidate best suited for the position will have excellent communication skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently, work within set audit timelines, punctuality, and organization skills. A clean driving record and current driver’s license is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform audit on incoming deals for both in and out of state deals
- Audit paperwork against DMV policies, providing notice to customers and to DMV as set by company procedures
- Manually entering the title transactions into various systems
- Assist with team questions related to processing registration and title paperwork
- Constant contact with clients to notify of errors, missing documents and due dates
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified candidates must have strong knowledge of registration and title procedures in accordance with State laws
- Demonstrated knowledge of processing procedures for dealer title work, including new and used vehicles
- Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR) program knowledge (efiling)
Required Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must work well independently as well as within a team environment
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Knowledge of DMV and state regulations pertaining to registration processing
- Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills

- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to type at minimum 60 WPM

Position Overview:
- The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the overall operation and strategic plan of Disability Rights Montana.
- The Executive Director is the management leader for Disability Rights Montana and reports to the governing Board of Directors.

- The Executive Director is the spokesperson for Disability Rights Montana and builds relationships with consumers, the public, media, government, DRM’s national association, and other stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead a dynamic group of professionals to accomplish critical mission of protecting the legal rights of people with disabilities.
- Serve as an effective leader in this civil rights movement with passion, vision, and action plans.
- Bring perspective and vision for the next chapter of Disability Rights MT and translate that vision into achievable steps to increase its visibility and impact.
- Utilize excellent presentation and networking skills to promote Disability Rights MT’s mission and leverage opportunities for systemic change.
- Act as a recognized, respected advocate and spend a significant amount of time in the community with stakeholders.
- Apply working knowledge of applicable laws and legal processes.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Montana or obtain prior to end of probationary period.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in active law practice; 5 years preferred.
- Experience with personnel supervision, budget development, leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making.
- Fundraising experience, including grant writing and management, preferred.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization and with Boards of Directors preferred.

Disability Rights Montana is part of the federally mandated protection and advocacy (P&A) system established by Congress in 1975 after the discovery of widespread abuse of people with disabilities. It is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect and advocate the civil and human rights of Montanans with every type of disability.

- Collecting trash from facilities, area garbage cans, beaches, grounds, trail areas and adjacent highway right-of-ways. Placing collected trash in transfer bins for shipment off-site.

Conducts Initial Assessment of Allegations to Ensure Child Safety
- Receives phone calls from mandatory and non-mandatory reporters of child abuse and neglect and follows an information gathering protocol to obtain sufficient information from the reporter.

- Responds to requests for emergency provision of legal consent to treat children in protective custody, runaways, and foster parents requesting assistance.
- Serves as a central point of contact for the public and others seeking information to which they are legally entitled in regards to children in protective custody.
Field Support Services
- Performs background checks to assess prior child protective reports to assess current child safety or risk of harm to assist investigative worker in the field.
- Obtains critical child protection or criminal history from other states when necessary to allow for accurate report determinations.
- Checks and verifies information from multiple data sources to determine additional requirements; including escalated safety factors of the alleged victim and field staff.
- Performs check of Violent and Sexual Offender Registry where need is indicated; and determine safety issues and alerts field worker of issues which may create a dangerous situation when responding to the call.
- Testifies at hearings and in court when required regarding actions and responses to referrals.

- Works with the Elections Administrator to establish timelines for projects once priorities have been established and oversees adherence to maintenance of established timelines;
- Provides specific and timely updates to Elections Administrator;
- Provides Elections Administrator, Department Heads, Party Officials and Candidates, as well as all other applicable parties, with specific progress reports for all projects;
- Be knowledgeable and capable of implementing new election law as set by Montana Code.
- Be knowledgeable and capable of implementing GIS sync with ElectMT total addressing laws and timelines as set by Montana Code
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge and Abilities

- State and Federal elections laws and regulations;
- Elections Department processes and procedures;
- Modern office procedures, practices and equipment;
- Data processing programs, policies and operations as applied to elections;
- Modern office filing systems and procedures;
- The operations and functions of county government;
- The operations and functions of irrigation districts;
- The operations and functions of sewer & water districts; ? The operations and functions of school districts;
- The operations and functions of municipalities;
- Safety rules, procedures and practices;
- Safety rules, cyber security procedures and practices relating to Elections and election laws;
- Governmental code of fair practices.
Skill to:
- Operate a personal computer using word processing, spreadsheets and database applications appropriate to assigned duties;
- Operate within the GIS and Montana Secretary of State ElectMT Total Addressing to set up precinct boundaries and incorporate re-districting boundaries within Broadwater County;
- Operate within the Elections Systems and Software
- Operate within Elections computer system for uploading and reporting Elections;
- Maintain complex elections result records and prepare reports for such records;
- Communicate well with media, clients, community organizations, employees and the general public both orally and in writing, using both technical and non-technical language;
- Strong people skills, business planning skills and the capacity to strategize.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience/Training:
- Leadership or progressively responsible experience preparing, processing, tracking and evaluating the activities relating to conducting federal, state, local and special elections; or of general office experience that includes lead responsibilities;
- A comprehensive knowledge of election laws and regulations;

Broadwater County Public Health Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of LPN. This is a permanent, full-time position. Duties and responsibilities include administration of immunization services including COVID-19 vaccinations, emergency preparedness planning, skilled nursing visits, nail care and communicable disease surveillance and investigation, assisting with Public Health grants as well as assisting with other public health duties. Current Montana Nursing License, current driver’s license, and current CPR certification required.
