Facilities Maintenance Tech Responsibilities:
 
  • Performs a variety of maintenance activities (e.g. carpentry, painting, electrical, carpet and tile laying, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining and improving the buildings so they are safe and comfortable
  • Ability to identify general upkeep and maintenance needs and communicate them to supervisors
  • Arranges furniture and equipment for purposes of providing adequate preparations for meetings and special events
  • Performs minor, job related, maintenance on custodial and maintenance equipment 
  • Maintains tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring they are available and in a safe operating condition
  • Prepares facilities for daily operations for the purpose of ensuring facilities are operational and hazard free
  • Operates and maintain facilities equipment such as vehicles and golf carts
  • Reports building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor

 

Facilities Maintenance Tech Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete essential duties to the satisfaction of the supervisor

Local Chemical Company seeking Full Time Warehouse Associate - Located in Harahan

This position requires the associate to stock and maintain warehouse inventory and fill outgoing orders so products are accurately pulled from stock, labeled, boxed and wrapped. There are many physical demands for this position. Individuals will spend the majority of their time standing, lifting, packaging and carrying products and climbing ladders to stock shelves and fill orders.

                                                       Pay == $15 Hour 

                      Hours = Mon- Friday 7:30-4:30/Some weekends to earn overtime 

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pull and fill stock orders for outgoing deliveries.
  • Separate, label and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
  • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
  • Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Some overtime work may be scheduled and required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Ground Rigger

  • Load and unload trucks.

Pay:  $19.25/hr

Hours:  6p-6a, Rotating schedule, 2-2-3. Must be able to work weekends, and over time as needed.

Overnight Forklift Operator Responsible:

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy. Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
