Reporting and communicating w/Sales Manager or President as required. Qualification Requirements: College degree. 2 + years Oil field experience. Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. REIMBURSEMENT VARIANCE SPECIALIST

Position Summary: The Reimbursement Variance Specialist is responsible for submitting appeal letters and required documentation to insurance companies, phoning insurance companies or patients to initiate appeal process for underpaid claims and following up on appeal status as required. ESSENSTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILITES: Review assigned claims and EOB's for appeal Gather and fill out all special appeal or Create forms Create appeal letters attach the materials referenced in the letter, and mail them Coordinate and perform phone appeals with the insurance company Document status of appeals as required EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • 1-2 years’ experience in the health care preferably in billing, reimbursement, appeals or denials • Experience in Customer Service • Experience with GE Centricity desired but not required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Ability to communicate in a diplomatic manner that promotes positive business solutions and good business relations as well as achieving desired results • Ability to produce quality and timely results while working appeals • Ability to work effectively and independently to achieve goals • Proficient in Microsoft Office products • Excellent communication and customer relation skills • Understanding of healthcare reimbursement • Ability to adhere to productivity goals and departmental guidelines
