Grand Junction, Colorado, Resident Honored for Outstanding Work
During National Staffing Employee Week
GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, September 22, 2005 -- Westaff, Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTF) announced today that Kassie Ware of Grand Junction, Colorado, is the 2005-06 Westaff's Best Summit Region Temporary Associate -- one of seven regional winners from around the country. Westaff's Best is an annual awards program sponsored by one of the country's top staffing and employment companies to honor the outstanding work of its temporary workforce.

Ware stood out as a warehouse worker at MHC Kenworth in Grand Junction because of her friendliness and the speed with which she learned her job, said David Withers, Parts Manager for MHC Kenworth.
"Kassie is able to work harmoniously with all coworkers," said Withers, who nominated her. "She is pleasant and friendly and has good customer service skills. She is clearly outstanding."
Ware, 24, will be rewarded with an American Express Gift Check, a Certificate of Recognition from Westaff and other gifts.
"I like to stay busy," Ware said. "Westaff has always been good about understanding that and giving me jobs that I enjoy...Getting this award makes me feel really good. Good things just keep happening at Westaff."
Kassie has overcome numerous personal obstacles on her path to success, said Branch Manager Terri Gird of Westaff-Grand Junction.
"I admire how hard she has always worked," Gird said. "She is also a strong family woman who works to keep her family together."
The awards program, now in its eighth year, coincides with National Staffing Employee Week. The week, September 19-25, is the American Staffing Association's (ASA) nationwide celebration of the country's 2.5 million temporary employees.
