"Our scholarship award is made in concurrence with our clients. Jochym, a database miner for Unisource, was chosen for his work ethic, ability to learn quickly and timeliness as well as for putting his college skills to use in the workplace.

"He has an outstanding work ethic and the skills to go along with it," wrote Lori Dugan of Unisource in her nomination. "Matthew has proven to be such a valuable asset to our team that we decided to extend his internship until he has to return to school. We hope he will consider coming to work for us when he finishes his degree."

"Matthew should get this scholarship because of the way his professionalism and drive has reflected the talent pool that Westaff has to offer."

Jochym is a sophomore at West Chester University, majoring in Computer Science.

Westaff is a Walnut Creek-headquartered international staffing company that places college students as summer interns with its client companies. Scholarship nominations are made by the clients themselves, and a winner is chosen each year by a panel of Westaff senior executives. Nominees must be placed by Westaff, must be nominated by the client and have perfect attendance during their internships.
