Rick Godard is Westaff's new District Manager for the
San Francisco Bay Area.
A San Jose resident and a Fremont
native, Mr. Godard has been Area Vice President-Northern
California for Barrett Business Services, and served
as a member of Barrett's Board of Directors. He was
also Vice President of Sales for Golden West Temporary
Services, the largest, locally-owned-and-operated staffing
company in Silicon Valley.
With 18 years of staffing industry experience,
Mr. Godard has a reputation for being a "winner."
He has outstanding knowledge of Northern California
markets and strong business relationships, said Westaff's
California Zone Manager James L. Donahue. Mr. Godard
was responsible for a five-fold increase in millions
of dollars of revenues for Barrett Northern California
and an almost eight-fold increase in Golden West's revenues.
"He's got a winning record and a
winning attitude, and he won't let anything stand in
the way of success," Mr. Donahue said. "He
also has extremely good business acumen. His analytical
and financial skills are top notch and his sales ability
is second to none. He understands how to develop and
drive a business."
Mr. Godard will oversee nine Bay Area
offices, including offices in Richmond, San Francisco,
Vallejo, Walnut Creek, Fremont, San Jose, Gilroy, Monterey
and Salinas.

approach," Mr. Godard said. "My goals for
my group are to take it to the next level - to build
a sales-and-customer-service-oriented team that will

Mr. Godard, a father of two, studied
business management and economics at San Jose State
University.
