Westaff, Inc., (NASDAQ: WSTF), a leading provider of temporary administrative, accounting, call center and light industrial staff, announced today that James L. Donahue is Westaff's new California Zone Manager.

Mr. Donahue has been Vice President-Southern California for Barrett Business Services and President and CEO of NSN/MedFirst Health Care. He has also served as an officer for several smaller staffing firms over the past twenty years as well as Marketing Manager for IBM Corporation. Mr. Donahue, of Laguna Hills, California, has extensive experience with increasing companies' revenue growth and executing aggressive marketing and sales programs.

Mr. Donahue will oversee 35 Westaff offices in California and Nevada. Among his goals, he said, is to "put Westaff in front of the marketplace and make it the employer of choice."

Mr. Donahue has a business degree from Washburn University and was an officer in the U.S. Army, serving a tour in Vietnam. He was awarded a Bronze Star for heroism. He has two grown children and five grandsons, and will continue to reside in Laguna Hills.
